2018 Summer Buckle Series Speed Shows
Speed Shows include the following events:
75 Up & Back
*** You must compete in 3 of the 5 Monthly Summer Buckle Series
shows and have completed your service hours OR Pay the Opt Out fee of $150 by Spring Clean-up Day (May 19th, 2018) to be eligible for year end awards. ***
Show office opens at noon. Speed shows starts promptly at 1 p.m.
The $10 office charge is waived if you pre-register online
before noon on the Thursday before the show. Pre-registration form below.
Every contestant under the age of 18 must have the signatureof his parent or legal guardian on a hard copy of the entry submission in the show office prior to the show in order to participate in the show. For insurance reasons, no exceptions will be made to this rule.
If you pre-register, but cannot get to the show office before the show starts to sign the form, print out the Registration Form below, sign, and have your child bring the signed form and entry fees to the office prior to the start of the show.

DRESS REQUIREMENTS FOR MONTHLY SPEED SHOWS: As stated in our Standing Rules, we follow the AQHA rules on Open Gymkhanas. As such, the Monthly Speed Shows will now require contestants to wear appropriate western attire, which includes pants (slacks, trousers, jeans, etc.) long sleeves and collar (band, standup, tuxedo, etc.) western hat and cowboy boots. It is optional that an exhibitor may wear a helmet in all classes. The hat must be on the rider’s head when the exhibitor enters the arena.
Practice Shows do not require formal attire. Practice Shows do require long pants and a heeled boot.
